I was finally able to finish the last chapter to Five Card Stud.  One beta has sent it back and I have already fixed it up.  Now, I just have to wait for the second beta to get it back to me.  I hope to post on DI in the middle of the week and I may post it on ff.net soon after.

Now I can concentrate on Spider-Man's Wonderful Life.  I'll get back to working on the 2nd chapter and then send it off to my co-author.

I'm also putting together ideas for a Spider-Man/Smallville crossover and while I work on SML, I may work on the first chapter of SM/SV before I take a break from writing.  I'm feeling pretty good about what I've got going right now and I hope that the creative juices keep flowing so I can continue to produce some fantastic stories.

With a great season now over, the Tigers began to work on next season.  They took a good step forward by retaining the services of President and GM Dave Dombrowski.  He was the architect behind bringing several players to the Tigers and Jim Leyland to form the group that did an outstanding job.

Unfortunately there is some bad news.  Don Slaught, the Tigers hitting coach this past season has resigned after only one year with the ballclub.  It saddens me to see him go, but I understand his reason for doing so.

Don Slaught resigns as Tigers hitting coach

I hope whoever they find to replace him with, they do as good a job as Don did.

Thanks for a good year, Don.  The Tigers hitters appreciated what you brought to the team.
