Save the Paczki, Save the World
Feb. 22nd, 2007 06:27 pmActually, saving a paczki is not a good idea. They are too delicious to save. I wouldn't be surprised if there are still some out there and perhaps I may pick some up.
I've also been catching up on Heroes but I still have a ways to go before I'm completely caught up. It's a wonderful and well written show that has plenty of twists and turns. Right now, I've got the first 7 episodes under my belt and more to follow over the next few days. I hope to get fully caught up so I can talk about it with some of my friends on my f-list because they seem to really enjoy the show.
In a week's time, the Tigers will be playing their first official Spring Training game. They usually start the exhibition season with a game against Florida Southern, which they'll do next Wednesday but the following day is when the games count during the Grapefruit League season. I don't care how well the Tigers fair during the spring because these games are just to get everyone ready for the games that really count.
Tomorrow will be a little busy for me since I have to take the ol' car in to get the windshield replaced. A few weeks ago, I had to get some stone chips fixed on it and when I saw one of them, I knew there would be a problem with it. Well, it turns out that I was right about that. I noticed over the last couple of weeks that a crack was forming from one of the pairs. It start has a little crack and it grew because of the warm and then cool weather. When I saw it today, it was pretty damn long. So, I take it in tomorrow and hopefully nothing happens to this new windshield.
