Fandom Appreciation

As some of you may know, this past week I've been a part of a fandom appreciation challenge. Today is the final day of the challenge and each day held an interesting task for participants to take part of and today is the final day. Today's challenge is to show your appreciation to my f-list, fandom, person on my f-list or basicly whomever I choose. If I have forgotten someone, please forgive me.

I would like to start off with some of the fine websites and communities that I have posted to: Divine Intervention, ff.net, 12days_of_clois, clois and give_spidey_lov. These 2 websites and 3 communities are the places that I have gone to and posted my fics on. I've enjoyed them very much, especially all the friends that I've met there. The maintainers of these websites and communities should be proud with what they have done with these pages because I enjoy them very much.

My writing wouldn't be as good as it is without the help of my beta readers. They have been a great help to me from day one and I hope they know how much I appreciate what they do for me. Georgia Kennedy, htbthomas, jenn_1 and coltdancer have been awesome at doing my betas. Thanks ladies.

I also appreciate all the new friends that I have made here on LJ. These friends are: sean_montgomery, bistyboo1974, jenna_knight, alamo_girl80, leynalynn, ancarett, sunlike, louisemcgregor, alphielj and elliania. You've wonderful and kind for reading my fics, sending stuff to me to beta, and just being great friends. Thank you for that.

That's it in a nutshell. All of these wonderful people that I have mentioned hold a special place in my heart and I hope they know how much I appreciate everything that they have done for me or just stuff in general. Thanks again.

Back on Track

After getting hammered 11-2 by the Indians yesterday, the Tigers roared right back and defeated the Indians 7-4 in Grapefruit League action today.  Today's contest completed a home-at-home series between the two ballclubs.  I would have loved to have seen the Tigers rough up the Indians more than they did but a win is good.  Kenny Rogers started the game for Detroit and gave up a couple of runs, one earned, during his two innings of work.

No writing done today but I'll get something done on my fic tomorrow.  It'll be nice to get back to it since I haven't touched it in a week.  Plus, I'm looking forward to having some fun with it.

The clock is slowly ticking down for the next episode of Heroes to be aired and that's tomorrow night.  This episode will be special for a couple of reasons: 1) It will be the first time that I'll watch an episode the day that it airs.  Yay!!  2) There's going to be a preview of Spider-Man 3 attached to the episode as well.  Since I'm a huge Spider-Man, there is no way I'll miss that.  Tomorrow night will be a very good TV watching night.
