Not the Same Old Tigers
Apr. 14th, 2007 06:20 pmBefore last season when the Tigers trailed late in a ballgame, you could pretty much right them off and give the team a loss. Well, the Tigers aren't that team because for the second time this season they came from behind to get the win. Trailing 7-6 in the ninth, the boys score for runs in the top of the ninth to take the lead. Todd Jones pitched a scoreless ninth for his 6th save of the year and the Tigers win, 10-7. Chad Durbin started for the Tigers today but pitched pretty poorly lasting on 4 innings. He needs to pitch better or the Tigers should think about sending him down to the Minors and replace him with someone who can not give up a lot of runs early in a game.
Tigers 10, Blue Jays 7
On the writing front, I'm almost done my 12 Days fic. I am nearing the climatic scene in the final chapter, which will be followed by the aftermath and some fun stuff that only I can come up with. I'll be glad to get this one in the can so I don't have to worry about it anymore.
