Messiah Complex and other comics goodness
Feb. 10th, 2008 06:13 pmThe first X-Men crossover in years, Messiah Complex, came to an end this month and it turned out to be a fantastic. To learn more, take a look under the cut. Also, there are spoilers under there so read at your own risk.
The Spider-Man titles were good as well. Ultimate Spider-Man rocked. We got to see who became the new Firestar in the Ultimate Universe and that was a surprise. I was astonished to see that Firestar would turn out to be Liz Allen. Didn't see that one coming.
Brand New Day wasn't so bad. Some things I didn't care for but others were alright. Spider-Man was his wise-cracking self and the arc read like an earlier issue of Amazing.
What If Spider-Man vs Wolverine was wonderful. It was a very different take on what happened in that one shot of years ago. I highly recommend reading it.
So, it was good comic reading this weekend.
