Runaways and Secret Invasion
Jul. 8th, 2008 06:04 pmI was finally able to get my hands on the last issue of Runaways by Joss Whedon and it was definitely worth the wait. It has set the tone for the third volume to be written by Terry Moore. Can't wait to see what he does with these characters.
Secret Invasion and it's tie-ins continues to impress me. The Skrull invasion is in full swing and you wonder who to trust. I do wonder who else we'll find out is a Skrull. There was one major reveal this past month but it could be a red herring. With this past month's books, you can see how the Skrulls influenced the current state of the Marvel Universe and the major events that they had set off. Very surprising and I can't wait to see what happens next.
