There's been some movement on Spider-Man 4 and you can hear about that here. According to the article, 4 and 5 may not be filmed together.
It seems that Spider-Girl isn't quite dead after all. The final issue of Amazing Spider-Girl ships today I believe and it was thought that the only way to see more of her would be in Amazing Spider-Man Family. That is no longer the case. There's going to be a Spectacular Spider-Girl title. Unfortunately it will be under Marvel's digital comics line. I assume you have to subscribe to their service in order to get it.
