Dec. 13th, 2009 05:51 pmI read my Spider-Man stuff today and I really enjoyed USM #4. I wasn't happy with MJ in the previous issues but this last one redeemed her.
ASM #111 did not impress me at all. The art was crap, IMHO, and the story was so-so. Deadpool was okay and I think a better artist may have saved the story.
ASM #112-113 started the Gauntlet storyline. It was nice to see Electro and he certainly will cause Spidey some trouble. There is one thing I have to complain about and it's Peter's current roommate, Michele Gonzales. She is a pain in the butt and ALWAYS puts Peter down. It pisses me off to see her always attacking poor Peter. To tell ya the truth, I wouldn't mind seeing Peter smack her because that is how much I dislike this useless character. But I have a feeling that I'll write a story about Peter getting even.
I also read Ms. Marvel #47. The main reason was that Spider-Man was in it. He was there because, as Peter Parker, he went on a date with Carol Danvers who is Ms. Marvel. It was a nice issue and it ended nicely.
