After my previous post, I found another formatting error while reading another story. This mistake is as basic as the other one. I'm not sure it's a grammatical mistake or something else entirely but it's just as bad.

Everyone should know that when you write something a character says, it's a paragraph all of its own. You don't have two or more characters having a conversation in a single paragraph. Everything the characters say is a paragraph separate from each other. This bugs me about as much as having the paragraphs not separated by a blank line.

This isn't a tough fix either. Also, if you use a beta reader they can catch this for you and explain it to you. This is why a beta is SO important to have.
