Thanksgiving/Columbus Day

To my fellow Canadians, I would like to wish you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.  Enjoy the turkey.

ALCS and NLCS match ups

Both League Championship series are now all set.

In the American League, the Detroit Tigers will face the Oakland A's.  Game 1 of this series is slated for tomorrow, Oct. 10 with a start time of 8:00 in Oakland.

Over in the National League, St. Louis earned their spot in the NLCS with a  6-2 win over the Padres yesterday.  St. Louis will be making its third consecutive trip to the NLCS and will do battle with the New York Mets.  The NLCS will have game 1 in New York on Wednesday, Oct. 11.

The winners of these two series will then meet in the Fall Classic, which will start at the home field of the American League Champion.
