Phone/Internet Problem

Lost my connection to the 'Net last night, sorry Van, and also two phones. Got them back a little later but lost both again before I went to bed. Problem was still there this morning and it took some looking into on my and my sister's part to figure out the problem.

The main phone line was fine so there was no real loss of phone service but it was the jacks attached to the main because there was no dial tone to the phones. My sister noticed that the line between the two jacks was pinched/kinked and when that was resolved, everything returned to normal.
