I'm kinda shocked that no one has read yesterday's fic post. Once I posted it, I thought there would be at least one person would read/comment on it but I guess I was wrong. This makes me want to post the other one in a not too soon manner. I was also hoping that I would start getting more reviews for it but so far that hasn't happened. Not too happy about that at all.

Sorry hon, but I have been working the last three nights.

That is 12 hour nights. And we have had nice winter driving conditions as well. That means I had to leave for work about 30 minutes earlier to make it in. I had to drive on a lot of black ice or ice like skating rinks. Not pleasant.

The patient load we have right now is also horrendous. For 18 patients we require 7 staff on the night shift. Day shift needs 12-13. 3 require sitters. We would need more but the wife of one will not leave him. Unless of course he is full of poop and has spread it all over himself and the bed. Not fun. I also had to dodge those grabby hands as we bathed him. yippy. Another one that requires a sitter did not have one last night because her death is immenent and her daughter was by her side. Surprising the daughter was calm, but she has a tendancy to go psycho. Not as bad as her mother who has punched staff in the throat, but still a little crazy. More yippy. We also have a charming gentleman who insists on belittling us every chance he has. He also will let the f word fly. He grabbed my arm so hard the other night that it did hurt. And at 6'5' and over 300 pounds, he can inflict harm.

I also had an episode of a muscle spasm last night when I was helping a sweet little lady to the commode. the pain was so bad, that I could not move. Dear sweet lady even noticied it. Walk it out she told me, cause that is what she does. I love that lady.

So, when I got home this morning at 0930, I was pretty much exhausted. I had enough strength to get off my dirty clothes and collapse into bed. This morning I was also so sleepy that the drive home was most difficult. And that was not fun on the icy roads.

I could go on because there is of course more. But you get the idea. I had an aweful weekend.

You have definitely been busy but that comes with the job you have. At least you had one good patient to look after.

*hugs*

I really hope that you can find time to read my story as well as the next one that I post. On the yuletide website, I've only gotten 2 reviews for both of my stories, which kinda sucks because it makes me feel that no one likes them especially since I haven't been getting a lot of reviews from recent fics that I posted.

I would like readership to pick up on my stuff but that is completely out of control.

Hey there -

I missed your post, and even though I'm not big into Spidy, the fact that you got Barbs prompt made me HAVE to read it. I went more than a day without looking at the flist and there were too many posts and I didn't go back a day. So I'm sorry I missed your fic.

However, that said, I've noticed a huge drop in reviews. Maybe it because Supes (which is the only thing I still write) isn't as popular since it's been so long since the film. Or maybe the fics just aren't as good. But I had about 8 reviews for my 12 days fic which is WAY low for me. I noticed that all the 12 days fics (except for Barb's really) had only a few reviews. I haven't read them all, but if I read them, I left a comment. So you aren't the only one suffering from a lack of response. It's awful, isn't it?

It's okay and I know some are not into Spidey like me but it sucks that people that are are not checking it out.

Like you said, reviews for certain fandoms have dropped off lately except for certain writers who always get tons of reviews, makes me jealous, lol.

I'm going to try to read some of those 12 Days fics but I have a LOT of fics that I need to catch up on.

Thanks again for taking the time to read my fic.

*hugs*

I admit it, I'm behind in my fic reading! My new icon journal is fun, but time consuming!

I just printed your story, and I'll have a review for you tomorrow!!

Sorry *facepalm*!
