Tomorrow is the day that I'll post what I thought of V - The Second Generation. It will give me some time to put my thoughts together and write them down. One thing I will tell you is that if you are a fan of the original miniseries, you should enjoy this novel.

As for the V remake, they will be getting ready to shoot soon. I guess they really are going in a different direction than the original because the name for one of the main Visitor baddies, Anna, is not a name used in the original. I guess that's okay but it does have me worried. The BIG thing is that Kenneth Johnson, the creator of the original and the author of the novel that I mentioned above, is not involved with this remake.

In writing news, I finally was able to get back at it and should be done with the second vignette displaying Ms. Lang's untimely demise. I have some more to go with that but it shouldn't be too difficult. I do have a question for any DC comic fans. Do you know of a evil mystic associated with Superman? I could use one in one of the short stories.

We shall see on the V remake. I do remember the show well. Sometimes remakes are good, and sometimes they aren't. It does seem a shame that the creator is not involved.

I totally agree with you about the V remake. The track record for TV remakes isn't that good and that's another thing that makes me worry about the new V. It is a shame that KJ is not involved but I wonder if he was approached about the project.

I'm not really up on Superman lore but what about Arion, he's a mystic with a beef against Superman in Camelot Falls.

I'll definitely look into him and see if he fits into what I had in mind. Thanks.
