I totally agree that St. Patrick's Day can go by unnoticed unless you are a hardcore drinker. That's not me of course, lol, I just happen to be part Irish.
Argh, was in a bit of a hurry when I wrote that and it sounded snarkier than it should've. At work we normally all remember to wear green and bring something green or Irish to eat for morning tea. We all forgot this year. Dur!

The thing about the drinkers, I know people by reputation who take an entire two days off around St Paddy's day to drink all day then get through the hangover the next morning. To them, it's not about the Irish, it's about the boozing.
