A few things are happening in this installment as Logan hires Veronica to find out how his trust fund is mysteriously dwindling.  She also is hired by the fraternity that is at the center of the rapes that have been occurring at Hearst College.

During her investigation of Logan's inheritance, Veronica discovers that it is going to a Charlie Stone.  Upon further discovery, she learns that Charlie is Logan's half brother.  Logan sets up a meet with his brother and gets to know him better.  After she meets Charlie, Veronica continues her digging.  Visiting Charlie's class, she finds out that the one she met the other night is not the Charlie that she meets at his classroom.  It turns out that the imposter was a reporter for Vanity Fair, just to get a story about Logan.  Once that is cleared up, Logan tries to get in contact with the real Charlie Stone.

Dick Casablanas is the member of the frat that approaches Veronica about working for them in order to clear them of being apart of the rapes.  Parker, the last rape victim, still isn't very kind to Veronica.  She keeps telling Veronica that she doesn't understand until Veronica sets her straight.  She doesn't go into detail but Veronica lets Parker know what had happened to her.  During this investigation, Veronica draws the ire of past victims and their supporters.  Doing her job the best way she knows how, Veronica finally finds the evidence that she needs to clear the frat much to the dismay of many people, including Parker.  Once again, Veronica tells Parker that she will do everything in her power to find the rapist but she wants to make sure she gets the right culprit.  During those scenes I really cheered Veronica on.  She didn't like working for the frat but at least she found out that no one there was responsible for the rapes.  I eagerly await for this arc to end.

Hey, guess what? I finally watched an episode yesterday! Go me!

But sadly, it seems that my DVR erased the two episodes before this one. So thank goodness for your recaps! :) [I was confused when the "Previously on..." had scenes I had never seen before, and I didn't have those eps anymore either]

Poor Logan - that was such a low blow with Charlie being an imposter. There was something about the guy that didn't ring true (teachers know teachers, and he didn't seem like one to me - whereas the guy at the classroom? Oh, yeah.)

There IS one thing that bothers me. How did the Vanity Fair reporter know to tap Charlie's phone? I mean, it took Veronica a long time to trace the money to Charlie to begin with. So how does some random reporter know about Charlie? That seemed like a big plot hole. (Did I miss something? - I was scrubbing the floor at the time)

Anyway, off to family time again!
